Solomon began to build the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, on the mountain Moriah, which had been shown to David his father, in the place that David had prepared.
the measures Solomon gave to the foundations of the house of God.
and he covered it inside with pure gold.
And he roofed the main body of the building with cypress wood, which he covered with fine gold.
And he made palms and chains stand out in them.
It also covered the house with precious stones for ornament;
and gold was gold of Parvaim. so he covered the house, its beams, its thresholds, its walls and its doors with gold;
and he carved cherubs on the walls. and covered it with fine gold.
And the weight of the nails was from one to fifty shekels of gold.
He also covered the rooms with gold. And within the most holy place he made two cherubim of wood, which were covered with gold.
