Beloved,
In this second letter that I write to you, and in both I awake with exhortation your clear understanding,
so that you may remember the words that were previously spoken by the holy prophets,
and of the commandment of the Lord and Savior,
given by your apostles; Knowing this first, that in the last days men without hearts will come, walking according to their own desires, and saying:
Where is the promise of his advent?
Because from the day the parents slept, all things remain as they were from the beginning of creation.
They ignore voluntarily, that in ancient times they were made by the word of God the heavens,
and also the earth, which comes from water and through water subsists,
2 Peter 3: 1-5
