Recognize also in your heart, that as a man punishes his son, so Jehovah your God punishes you. Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, walking in his ways, and fearing him. Because Jehovah your God introduces you into the good earth, land of streams, waters, springs and springs, sprouting in fertile plains and mountains; land of wheat and barley, of vines, fig trees and pomegranates; land of olive trees, oil and honey; land in which you will not eat bread with scarcity, nor will you lack anything in it; earth whose stones are iron, and from whose mountains you will extract copper. And you shall eat and be satisfied, and bless the LORD your God for the good land that he has given you.
