In this podcast Mark interview's online fitness coach and medical Doctor Emil Goliath.

Hailing from Cardiff, Emil has been training from a very young age and I met him around 13 years ago when I started my career in fitness where he was already a giant.

Over the years he has pushed his body to extremes, first developing a love for strong man competitions in his early 20s and trying to esat up to 6000 calories per day!

At 25 and almost 122kg he was getting tired just walking up the stairs and was verging on diabetes! It also didn't sit well with him that he had high blood pressure as a training medical doctor.

He then decided to go the other way, found a passion for bodybuilding and went as low as 5% body fat for his first ever show!

In this hour of conversation we discuss in depth his journey from strongman to bodybuilder and also talk in detail about the types of nutritional experiments he has undertaken to get a better grasp of nutrition.

In recent times he has played around with both the vegan diet and currently the ketogenic diet of which he gives great insights into both.

We rounded off the conversation by delving into the more holistic side of fitness from improving sleep to self development for the mind, something we are both massive believers in.

This medically trained guy walks the talk and is extremely knowledgable and it was a real pleasure to have him join me.
