I have been coaching women on gut health and weight loss for over 7 years. While nutrition changes, supplements and exercise all play a huge role, I have found that the least addressed root cause issue for both of these aspects is managing stress. Most women (and men) are operating their everyday life in chronic low-grade stress. This means that with every task they are in a hurry, or worried about the next thing and not fully intentional and present in what they are doing. This keeps the body in fight-or-flight mode and produces a ton of inflammation on the brain and in the gut. In today’s podcast, I am teaching you the difference between proactive versus reactive stress management and helping you build a toolbox so you can be more intentional, present and calm in your daily life. This, in turn, will help you eliminate bloat and digestive distress, shed unwanted pounds and feel alive again.
