In the 14h episode of the ABF Journal podcast, Bruce Sim, head of acquisitions at eCapital, joined the program to discuss the M&A landscape, his company’s rebrand and its approach to acquiring and supporting companies, including the recent acquisition of Prosperity Funding. 

Sim predicted an increase in M&A activity as soon as the end of Q3/20 and also shared how eCapital looks to add successful platforms — not just attractive portfolios — while providing capital raising that allows companies to stick to their specialties. Lastly, he shared some advice for would-be sellers, including the importance of transparency.
