This episode of Air & Earth podcast is about sitting with and moving through growth cycles. Sometimes we ask for growth and then everything comes up all at once. Today, I’m sharing this message from my bed, with my dog Forest curled up next to me. I had a moment when I looked at him and was brought back to all of these emotions and feelings from two years ago, when I had my first major growth period.

Forest is my best friend and he’s also my teacher. He teaches me every day about unconditional love and presence. Looking at Forest, I had a huge reminder of what it is that keeps me moving through these growth cycles.

Whenever I feel like things are hard or frustrating, I remember that it’s not my responsibility to speed up that part of the process. My job is to be present and to integrate the lessons so that I can have sustainable growth.

So often what you’re being asked to teach you’re also being asked to experience. If I sit through my growth period and fully integrate my lessons, then I’ll have more to give because I’ll have just experienced it all.

I want to encourage you to look at where you are. What’s carrying you through this time? Can you connect to a moment in the past when you felt uncertainty, and think about how you moved through it?
