How to get your money back as an Amazon FBA seller!

Amazon FBA Customer Returns are a tough area to get reimbursed for because of a few factors:
* Seller initiated refunds
* Simple thing is detecting when customer been refunded and not returned product
* Hard thing is to know whether Amazon initiated the refund or the customer
* Sometimes the seller will refund things themselves
* Amazon will say - you’re ineligible for a reimbursement
* Some companies are aware of this and they also provide return labels to own warehouses NOT back to Amazon
* For them, they already know what they are doing
* Other sellers do put everything through Amazon
* Especially higher volume folks
For FBA , amazon is supposed to handle reimbursements generated by FBA customer returns.
However, if customer contacts seller directly, the seller often refunds them directly.
Issue is if that customer does not return product, amz will know seller refunded customer and won’t reimburse the seller.
Often seller will say - “Don’t worry about returning product”. But this communication is not included in reports.

* look at refund report -
reports>payments>transaction report - sort refunded orders
* fba customer returns report
Generated whenever a customer goes back
2 FCs for returns Las Vegas and Kentucky
* Also check a 2nd report - inventory event report
Unsellable inventory - getting reimbursed
