Wayne loved property investment before he even knew it was a real thing. Today, he’s keen on strategy like buying two houses together – one for cash flow and the other for capital growth.Wayne explains to Buyer’s Institute Founder Ben Handler how he bought his own home with a $1 deposit and a 12-month settlement with immediate occupation – but gives credit to his wife for starting the deal.

Although he’s been in the property business for many years, Wayne did work with new builds where he wasn’t totally independent. Now, Wayne focuses on established properties anywhere in Australia as an independent buyer’s agent.Fear is the biggest roadblock to property investors, says Wayne. So he has to convince his clients to go for it by showing them the numbers. Once they’re convinced, and then discover how easy it was, they come back to him for more properties.

Wayne credits his team for doing the legwork and keeping his research up to date.One thing Wayne finds very humbling is the ability to change lives with the right strategy – buying and selling the right property at the right time.
