COVID-19 has changed the way the entire world functions and with that many of us have had to adapt to the various safety protocols put in place by our local governments. Many media outlets have verified with experts that Americans should expect to wear face coverings for the next several years even with a COVID-19 vaccine.

As businesses being to reopen and many of us return to work, we may find ourselves wearing masks for longer periods of time that one would hope. Surgical masks and cloth face coverings are known to produce excess moisture, built-up bacteria, and a lack of air circulation. This inevitably presents a risk for those with oily or acne-prone skin. Whenever you are at home it is so important to let your skin breathe, because it can get so dank under these masks, which causes more breakouts to occur for those who already have acne-prone skin.

In this episode, I share some of my favorite ways to attack "maskne" and how you can prevent it from becoming a problem!
