Importance of Self-Care

with Dr. Michele Summers Colon

Wow, here we are in March already. Spring is almost here, if you are in the Northern Hemisphere, just a few more weeks to go. I’m so looking forward to getting into my garden and planting some veggies. Last year my garden turned out to be awesome, there was so much food. Honestly, there is nothing better than homegrown food. And you don’t need a lot of space, you can even grow veggies in pots. If you are worried about the cost of food, or buying or not buying organic. Try to grow some things for yourself this year. Pick one or two things like tomatoes and lettuce, or peppers and herbs like basil. It’ really doesn’t take a lot of effort at all. See how it goes and next year try a few more things. The benefits are good for your health and bank account.
