Melinda Saldivar is a student at Lehman College in the Bronx, NY. She is currently pursuing a degree in English Education for Middle & High School and her long-term goal is to become a social worker. Melinda hopes to make a difference in someone's life by destigmatizing depression and letting people know they're not alone. She's found crocheting and painting to be useful coping methods in her own journey with depression. You can check out Melinda's creative works at https://www.instagram.com/artdonebymel/.
