In today’s episode. I’m chatting with Yotam Kafri, who is the founder and creator of Mudras, a New York City massage therapy boutique offering customized massage therapy for the body and soul.

Known as the “body and mind fixer,” Yotam is not only an expert massage therapist, but is also a choreographer, performer, teacher and artistic director. His personal and professional background blend seamlessly to give him an extensive understanding of how the mind and body work together.

Here are some of my favorite takeaways from my conversation with Yotam:

  •     In moments of uncertainty, it’s important to remember that perspective is everything; though we may not see it immediately, our path has a way of revealing itself at the right moment.
  •     Though our body knows everything it needs to do, sometimes it needs an extra push; this is where Yotam’s unique massage therapy -- offering a number of important body and soul benefits -- comes into play.
  •     Breathwork is so very important to our overall well-being as it provides an essential connection to our deeper selves; whenever possible, make breathwork part of your self-care routine.
  •     Healthy living varies from person to person, and it’s important to remember that having a balance between movement, sleep, healthy eating, and socialization, is key to overall health.
