Like so many all across the globe, throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve relied on at-home workouts to keep me healthy, strong, and sane. I am really excited to share this podcast episode with you. Not only is my guest super knowledgeable and interesting to speak with, but the topic of our conversation is so very timely in light of the pandemic we’re currently living through. I’m speaking with Amaya Weddle, who is the VP of Research & Product Marketing of MINDBODY, a technology platform that connects the world to wellness.

Of the many great takeaways of my conversation with Amaya, here are some of my favorites:

  • COVID-19 has transformed the way in which self-care happens, accentuating the importance of creating and maintaining a work-life balance.
  • New versions of healthy routines have sprouted due to the pandemic, highlighting the uplifting and inspiring ways in which the fitness industry has evolved in building new virtual content and serving its members’ needs.
  • Community continues to play an integral role in the fitness industry; especially in times of isolation and stress, more and more people are looking to the virtual wellness world for an authentic community experience.
  • Healthy living means being in balance with one’s physical wellness, emotional wellness, intellectual wellness, spiritual wellness, environmental wellness, social wellness, and occupational wellness.
