The Burning River 100 mile endurance race is an epic undertaking. Matt Vogel and I discuss our first 100 mile attempt. We cover favorite nutrition, socks, pacers, and the amazing trail running community in Northeast Ohio. There was blood, sweat, blisters, and tears and every bit of it was worth it. If you’ve ever thought of doing a 100 mile race then this podcast is essential listening. This is one of my favorite episodes to date. The one hundred mile distance is transformative, painful, wild, and I can’t wait to try it all over again.
The song featured at the end of this podcast is Sleeping Lessons by The Shins. To download your own copy click HERE.
