If you are going to start running farther than a half marathon consider getting a hydration vest. They are an essential tool for long miles on the trail and in races. There are a ton of different brands and varieties to choose from! In this podcast guest co-host Jett Croisant and I discuss how we use our packs and our top ten things to keep in them.

9. Picky Bars are super yummy but hard to find. Order some directly from them HERE.
10. Larabar makes mini versions of their classic bars. The peanut butter cookie are awesome. Get some HERE.
11. You can’t buy those Altra sunglasses that I bring with me on the long run. My Altra sunglasses were totally in my bag. Jett is sassy. You should still pay the good folks at Altra a visit HERE.

13. They do make mini versions of Duct Tape rolls. They fit perfect in your pack! Hook some up HERE.
14. The best hair ties are made by Goody. They are twisty black and can be bought at Target.
15. Hobby Lobby sells tons of bandanas. They’re totally cheap or you can do the whole dry cloth thing Jett does.
16. Toilet paper, baby wipes, paper towels, etc will be your friend out on the trail. Don’t guess what leaves aren’t poison ivy.
17. Don’t forget some trail cash!
18. Extra Band-Aids are good for a man’s nipple protection.
