Dr. Jan Newell, breast cancer, and her Gerson Therapy healing story. Jan Newell was an engineer working at BC Hydro: Just as she was retiring and her children had moved out, Jan started a new career in real estate and got the devastating news that she had breast cancer. Jan talks to us today about how she discovered the Gerson Therapy through scientific research and educating herself about metabolic nutrition – aka – the power of food to heal. Learn how she overcame her cancer without chemo or radiation and uncover why her health is the best that it’s ever been. Jan shares important insights on how conventional doctors regard cancer patients amidst their lack of knowledge on nutrition. In this episode of Eat Real to Heal, Jan invites you into her journey of growing up in China and then trying to adapt to the Western standard American diet in Vancouver. Finally, she shares how China is taking on the Gerson Therapy because in many ways its similar to Chinese medicine, allowing you to not only heal your body, but also heal your mind.

 

Jan is now a Holistic Health Coach and certified Gerson Health Trainer and she helps inspire and support people with cancer with her company Health Talk 180.
