Today I have a deep, very real, very informative conversation with Dr. Jim Thorp.

Dr. Thorp is an obstetrician-gynecologist and maternal fetal medicine specialist.

He is also the chief of maternal and pre-natal health at the Wellness Company, who received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of medicine and has been in the practice for more than 40 years.

As many of you know, because I have been quite public about it, Michael and I are currently on our own fertility journey and have faced MANY road blocks. 

My goal in this conversation was to help me and the thousands of couples who struggle with infertility to understand what’s going on AND provide solutions to improve their awareness, immune systems, and overall health in order to support pregnancy in today’s world.

We cover many controversial topics including the vaccine impacts on fertility, medical ethics, informed consent, reproductive health, and corruption in the medical community.

I found this conversation difficult, had to take several deep breaths throughout, AND also extremely validating and informative.

Since this conversation, Michael and I have adjusted out plan and are paying attention in new ways. And my hope, is that regardless if you are on a fertility journey or not, our eye opening conversation may open your eyes a little wider as well.

With that being said, hard conversations are what this podcast is all about. It is called Elisa Unfiltered for a reason, and if we ONLY hear one side of the story over and over, how will that benefit anyone?
