Diya is a micro influencer with fashion, and she developed a safety app, too, KeepMeSafe, available in App stores. In Breaking Boundaries, Sidney talks about how social media has changed the trajectory of scientific research. Through apps like Instagram and Twitter, scientists have developed the ability to extensively disseminate their findings. Scientific research has customarily been closed off to the public, however, with social media, research is available to a wider variety of people.
