Two energetic and enthusiastic young ladies, Henna Hundal and Asya Gonzalez star in this one hour program highlighting exciting summer activities. Henna broadcasts from the campus of UC Davis where she is enrolled in a fascinating scientific program. Asya shares her love of Pinterest and the fascinating projects she has gleaned from the site that she encourages anyone to try. The teens discuss making homemade ice cream, lemonade stands, creative businesses, and fun adventures that cost nothing to very little. The sedentary lifestyle of kids and the ubiquitous use of technology is leading to obesity, diabetes, and other diseases and our girls are adamant about changing that scene. They advocate getting up, getting out, and getting active. Ride bikes, hike, walk, run, throw Frisbees, swim, surf, skate!
The fragrance of flowers fills up the expanse to the bright blue sky. The grass glistens at the touch of flickering sunbeams. A light breeze blows gently past. It’s an opportunity for enjoying something fresh and different. It’s summertime. Go outside and play!
