37. Best Of The B Squad - Ashleigh Thurmond Vega - a podcast by Kelly and Lindsey

This week the gals sit down with their old friend from their days working at The London Weho, Ashleigh Thurmond Vega, and talk mom stuff, systemic racism and animal sex! 

 

We start our school day off in English class with the game 'Kelly, Lindsey and Ashleigh and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year' where we learn way too much information about childhood author Shel Silverstein's sexcapades and find out which of our favorite children's books was secretly anti-semetic AF. 

 

We then hop on over to Geography class where we learn that Pasadena is more than just a Rose Bowl and Portland is more than just Portlandia.  Who knew?  You do now, if you listened to this ep already!

 

In recess we revisit everyone's favorite game, MASH. Did you know that Ashleigh *hearts* Justin Timberlake?  And did you hear he's bringing sexy back?  

 

After recess we head on over to History class where we get real and learn about Juneteeth in honor of this month's holiday and The Black Lives Matter movement. 

 

We then end our school day in Biology class where we play the game, 'The Birds and the Bees' and learn about animal sex, because learning about how hydras give birth and how slugs bone is important and relevant because Ashleigh's a mom too!
