In this episode I begin the process of dispelling the myth that vegan automatically equates to healthy. There are so many things you can eat that qualify as being vegan but are not doing your body any good, especially if you’re trying to lose weight or trying to reduce your sugar intake or dealing with health issues such as high cholesterol, diabetes or high blood pressure. Be wise about what you put on your fork and just because it has that vegan label on it doesn’t mean it’s healthy.
