Welcome to this week’s episode. This episode we are going to discuss how we can heal perfectionism and take more action. We’re super excited about this episode, personally, this topic is very close to our heart because we are both perfectionists. This is something we’ve struggled with for most of our lives. When we uncovered the energetics behind perfectionism, it really helped us overcome it, and we want to share these learnings with you!



Energetically, perfectionism is behind many of our physical ailments, insomnia, anxiety, depression, intimacy issues, being emotionally unavailable, and more. What causes perfectionism? The number one culprit is fear.. specifically fear of not having control over an outcome. This means we are highly disconnected from trust – trust in ourselves, the process, the universe, and/or the present moment. When we don’t trust, we don’t experience life in its fullness because we are not expressing our full, authentic self.



Your inner world is your outer world. Perfectionists may perceive of a highly critical, thus limited world. Because they are holding themselves to an impossible standard, and likely measuring self-worth by productivity and accomplishment. This alone cripples our life force, so instead of channeling energy into ease and Flow, the energy doesn’t circulate well. It ends up stalling out every time we try to do a task 1000% perfectly. No wonder perfectionists are always exhausted and don’t seem to have enough time! They are always rushing due to fear they are going to lose control. Sound familiar?
