Pregnancy and parenting can be a terrifying and overwhelming prospect. Join Laura and Abi as they discover the statistics about how many new parents are struggling with their mental health, what to do if you yourself are struggling and laugh along with them as they reveal the slightly ridiculous things they fear about childbirth and parenting.

Their interview this week is with Anna Ceesay, a mother of two, former BBC journalist and Founder of Motherdom- The UK's first maternal mental health and wellbeing magazine.

This one's a little bit "sweary", potentially triggering and admittedly they do start off by getting carried away with "poo talk" but the message is clear... it's okay not to be the perfect parent and you are certainly not alone if you're feeling low. If you're struggling with your mental health please contact your gp. If your gp's about as welcoming as a teething toddler you can do as Anna did and contact The Panda's Foundation by calling: 0843 28 98 401. And for those of you who hate making calls you can also email them on: info@pandasfoundation.org.uk
