QUOTE OF THE DAY:

“When we face pain in relationships our first response is often to sever bonds rather than to maintain commitment.”

“For me, forgiveness and compassion are always linked: how do we hold people accountable for wrongdoing and yet at the same time remain in touch with their humanity enough to believe in their capacity to be transformed?”

- bell hooks

In Season 2 Episode 5 Dom and Terri had a chance to interview a special guest, Dr. Ja'Nina Garrett-Walker and engage in conversation about being black and queer and how we can build a bridge between Black heterosexual women and Black queer women. The interview went well until the last 13 minutes. Terri and Dom were made aware of a few statements that were deemed problematic.

In today’s episode, Dom and Terri invited Ja'Nina back on the show to model a healthy dialogue that will hopefully empower you to have your own healing conversations despite how uncomfortable or passionate they might be. Stay tuned to learn tips on what to do when you or someone you know fucks up...because it happens to the best of us.
