from 2019-05-24T13:37:10
Anxiety is the number one mental health diagnosis in America and Black women experience it in ways that we often ignore...
In this week's episode, Terri shares that she has been in a reflective space and unapologetically experiencing ALL of her feelings. One of the things she noticed was anxiety. Terri notes that she wasn't able to acknowledge the experience until she knew what it meant. Dom provides us with descriptions on how anxiety may show up in our lives from the physical, mental and behavioral manifestations. Terri and Dom identify the instances in our everyday lives that cause anxiety for Black women. The ladies also know that they are not immune to anxiety and share examples of when they have experienced anxiety and what they did to address it. Then they provide us with tips on how we can all manage our anxiety. Tune in to find out if Terri and Dom list the way(s) in which anxiety may be showing up in your life.
