Omega 3s can help with brain function in adolescents. Long term studies show that when adolescents consume a therapeutic dose of omega 3s their focus and processing speed are increased.

Vitamin D is recommended by Health Canada as a supplement all Canadians should be taking. More and more studies are being released every week about how maintaining proper vitamin D levels has lasting impacts on health. Until now most research has been focused on vitamin D and mood. New studies are showing a positive correlation between adequate vitamin D levels and corresponding regulated blood sugar control and oxidation defence in the cardiovascular system.
