In today's episode we discuss how living close to green spaces
reduces the risk for chronic diseases. In a recent study from the
University of Miami of 250,000 Americans it was found that those
who live in the greenest areas were at a 14 percent risk reduction
for diabetes, a 13 percent reduction for hypertension and a 10
percent reduction for lipid disorders.

The UK is taking steps to remove two more endocrine disruptors from
the environment. Two weedkillers readily used in the area have been
discovered to cause alterations in human hormone levels.

Listen to hear our take on how to stay safe from hormone disruptors
in the food chain and from the environment.
