In this pre-season opener, I welcome Toni Jones back to the Free to Be Show to explore her new album "Me vs Every Me"

Her over arching theme of self-love is referenced in every song. Self-love combats the core of psychological and emotional dysmorphia. It is the antidote to all that ills the souls of generational curses upon women, gender based violence that has found a home deep within the great-great-great-granddaughter’s psyche and thus driven to find light. The light is the remembrance of love...THE LOVE...the connection to the Oneness...Divinity.

Self-love is a thang!

Toni Jones so eloquently shares the iterations of embodying self-love through her art form. Our topic? Me vs Every Me for Muslim women not to the exclusion of everyone else it's so that Muslim women receive her message as a gift from the Divine.

Intrigued? Tune in!

This year I paused my award-winning podcast the Free to Be Show for deep introspection. What I shared above is a sample of my more raw revealing upcoming season. I will hold nothing back in terms of my world view, views of Black women, Muslims, policy changes, collective consciousness and the list goes on. The format will also change. Get ready to do some deep introspection and reframe how you are showing up. Are you truly Free?
