Getting a kick start in April, I am thrilled to start the next theme of Playing with my friend and colleague Dave Orton. We will show you what play looks like and how it levels the energy and world of people. After all, weren't we all children once? Why not continue to play in business and politics and more?! Let’s talk about it on the next Free to Be Show!

Dave has been coaching businesses, individuals, and couples for 10 years.  He is a master of acknowledgment which means he sees and cultivates the greatness in others. 

His training includes going through programs from Dale Carnegie, Toastmasters, Tony Robbins, Landmark Worldwide, and NLP training through Empowerment Inc.

Dave has worked with the best coaches in the world including the Ultimate Coach, Steve Hardison, Townsend Wardlaw, Arminda Lindsay, Rich Habets, Steve Chandler (Online Coaching School), Sarra Adnani, Landmark Forum Leaders, and many others. He was an Introduction Leader with Landmark Worldwide for 7 years.

In addition to coaching, he has over 20 years of experience in high-tech leadership, where he led teams of up to 105 people in countries around the world. 

Dave loves people and learning about and talking with individuals from other cultures, religions, nations, and backgrounds. He loves to travel and has been to 16 nations around the globe. He enjoys re-writing and recording songs in the style of Weird Al, making social media videos, watching old movies, and making up and fulfilling challenges. Dave recently completed a 30-day cold plunge challenge.

He grew up in Rexburg, Idaho. After an accident and near-death experience at age 14, Dave recovered his health and has since completed a marathon, a half-marathon, and two Olympic-length triathlons.  He served a religious mission in Russia, from 1995 to 1997, and is fluent in Russian.  Dave and his sweetheart, Penny, have been married for 25 years.  They’ve lived in the Boise, Idaho area for 20 years and have four children.
