This is a guided meditation that can be done while walking around your neighborhood, in the park, in the woods, anywhere. As we begin our day the body and mind come out of the dormant state of sleep and back into sensory awareness. This walking meditation will help you to begin your day connecting mindfully to the activities of the body and mind so that you can start your day with presence and ease.


Emily is a DC-based yoga teacher with over 1000 hours of training in yoga techniques including asana, restorative yoga, yoga Nidra, meditation, pranayama, energy healing, and yoga philosophy. Emily brings a warm and steady tone to her classes and helps practitioners access a greater sense of mental and physical space and a receptivity to the subtle intelligence that is found through stillness.
