Nav Grewal
Registered Physiotherapist-Pelvic Health, Women's Health

Nav is a Pelvic Physiotherapist serving the Toronto, Oakville, and Scarborough communities. After graduating from physiotherapy school, Nav was immediately drawn to Women’s Health and decided to focus her practice in this area. Nav has worked extensively with pre and postnatal patients with pelvic floor dysfunction while collaborating with urologists and obstetrician/gynaecologists.

.

Nav believes every woman should be empowered to take care of their own health and therefore she focusses on a lot of education with her clients, as well as in the community. She works with her patients to create a treatment plan with specific goals to help improve their quality of life. She values compassion, trust, and kindness in her patient care. Her goal is to have women’s health be equally represented in physiotherapy school as well as in clinics around Canada, which is currently not the case.

.

When she isn’t treating, Nav keeps active by doing yoga, spin, and planning her next mountain hiking adventure.

Questions on kegels:

1) Are kegels for everyone? Should everyone be doing kegels?

2) What is the best way to perform kegels? and when to do them if someone is pregnant or afterwards

3) What are kegels? (a lot of people don't even know!)

We will chat again about prolapse.

Thanks for your commments
