Procurement’s Top 30 Under 30 - a podcast by Jon Hansen

Perhaps it was just a matter of time in that we have had the Top 40 Under 40, and The Top 50 Over 50 – of course with the later the focus is more on looking good and being healthy as opposed to corporate accomplishment – that a Top 30 Under 30 was inevitable.

For those who are regular listeners of the show or conversely follow the Procurement Insights blog, you will readily recall my frequent references to how today’s young professionals have actually chosen to be in the procurement field as opposed to those from older generations who sort of fell into it.

It is an important observation in that this shift from accidental involvement to one of deliberate choice is a driving force behind the changes that are taking place in the industry as a whole.

Today we will talk about this new program from ThomasNet.com and ISM which is geared towards recognizing Millennials in the Supply Chain Industry.
