Mucha gente cree que la Zona de Adyacencia entre Belize y Guatemala es una especie de “tierra de nadie/no man lands” … pero en realidad lo que existe es una línea de adyacencia que va de sur a norte entre ambos países y que es -más o menos- como una línea imaginaria porque no hay nada físico que marque esta línea sino que existen tres puntos referenciales a lo largo de los 215 km de la línea que son: en el sur está el punto llamado “Gracias a Dios”, Garbutt’s Falls en el medio -que es donde están ubicados los dos puestos migratorios de Belize y Guatemala- y “Aguas Turbias” en el norte que colinda con México.

Many people believe that the adjacency zone between Belize and Guatemala is a kind of "no man's land / no man lands" ... but in reality what exists is an adjacency line that goes from south to north between both countries and which is - more or less- like an imaginary line because there is nothing physical that marks this line but there are three reference points along the 215 km of the line which are: in the south there is the point called "Thank God", Garbutt's Falls in the middle -which is where the two immigration posts of Belize and Guatemala are located- and "Aguas Turbias" in the north that borders Mexico.
