Steps for Andrew ....losing a child to CHD - a podcast by Liz Alvarado

This week I have a guest, who also ran the LA Marathon to raise awareness after losing his newborn child Andrew to CHD (Congenital Heart Disease). Anthony walks us thru the emotion process of finding out on the 20th-week ultrasound that his newborn had only half a heart. In this episode, Anthony speaks about how he decided he would run the LA Marathon to help raise awareness and how the training helped the healing process for him.

Anthony and his family are currently doing a virtual run, to continue to raise awareness. If you would like to participate in this run, you may do so by making a small donation of $10, $15 or $20 to help fund more research on Congenital Heart Disease by running a 5k, 10k or half marathon during your own time.
