In this episode I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Mike Israetel, PHD in Sport Physiology and Co-Founder of Renaissance Periodization. Mike discusses some in depth topics covered in his upcoming book “Scientific Principles of Hypertrophy Training” which include his evaluation of DOMS, its effects on planning future overload and his current thoughts on rep-range periodization. Additionally he gives some insights into his own training at the moment, his experience with higher frequency training and what is planned for the future.
