Being Peace

Allowing peace into your life is simpler than it may seem. I say allowing peace because there is no need to create it, for peace is who you are underneath the mental noise we humans seem to experience.

When you wake up out of thought (which you can do right now), you will notice this natural peace starting to flow into your life. This is the simple, two step practice I use to do just that:

1) Bring your attention so intensely to the sensations of breathing that thought moves to the background. Stay as focussed on this breath as you can.

2) Notice yourself as the one who is experiencing these sensations, the one who is aware of the breath. Sense your own presence and keep following the breath.

This simple process is all you need to wake up in this instant.
