Belinda Granger - #63 - Pro-Liaison for Challenge Family, Former Pro-Triathlete - a podcast by Niklas Ludwig

In this episode of the Podcast Gain³, I talk to Belinda Granger, who is the Liaison for all the professionals at Challenge Family and former pro-triathlete herself, about her path as a professional and what she learned from it.

After being a P.E.-Teacher, she decided to fully focus on the sport after winning Challenge Roth. She then trained under Brett Sutton in Switzerland, with the likes of Nicola Spirig. In the process she won many international 70.3 races and Ironmans. After retirement, she stayed true to the sport and is now the Pro-Liaison at Challenge Family.

In the podcast, we talked about her career, what she learned from it when the right time is to make the switch to full-time professional and which challenges she faced after committing that step. In the end, we also talked about the idea of an additional race category between Age-Group and Pro and which benefits this would have.
