Greg Gleason, reigning Trans Iowa champion two years running, gives us an in-depth blow by blow of this year's race - a race in which out of 100 racers, only he made it to the first check point within the time cutoff.  Battling a tough course in atrocious weather conditions left Gleason the lone competitor on the route to check point two facing both physical and personal battles.
