A special edition of the podcast, dealing with advice on how to train given the rapidly changing coronavirus situation.

We’re aware that some of you would prefer to continue training as if you were still building towards your main event, even if it has been / is likely to be cancelled. But your health, well being and strength of your immune system has to be our primary concern here.

The well respected and widely acknowledged study linked to below highlights a few clear, relevant points regarding our training. More specifically that continued exercise has a positive effect on reducing risk of respiratory infection, but only up to a moderate level of intensity. High intensity training notably increases the risk of respiratory infection. (See the “J-Curve” representation of this in the article linked below. )
