God is always focused on bringing you into a fuller experience of Him. The fruit of the Spirit -- joy, gentleness, peace, kindness (just to name a few) -- reveal to us the nature of God.

God is not telling you to be gentle. God is telling you, “I am gentle.”

And as we experience His nature, we become transformed by it.
