10 Minute Reboot - Reduce My Feelings of Frustration - a podcast by Katie Falk

This meditation I practiced today was simply to calm myself down a bit, so I could get back to taking care of my daughter today without feeling like I was going to lose my mind. Sometimes the emotions I feel can get super overwhelming and intense, and I simply HAVE to take ten minutes to breathe. This meditation is very raw and real, and this state of frustration and anger I started this meditation in is not ideal for me, and I’m continually learning how to manage and accept these intense feelings. I used to have panic attacks regularly years ago, and now I have a better way to handle my overwhelm. My emotional breakdowns tend to happen when I can’t seem to get a moment alone, which is where many people may be finding themselves during coronavirus lockdown. I don’t currently have the alone time I would typically have, and it’s wearing on me. So I rely on completely shutting down for ten minutes at a time a few times a day just to maintain my sanity on days that are full with tasks from the moment I wake up til the moment I head to bed. And this is a peek into my 10 minute crash of deep breathing.
