Become friends with your breath. Get to know your exhalation and find what feels good for you and your body. When pregnant, we aren’t able to breathe as deeply, simply because the baby is pressing into our diaphragm-especially during the third trimester. This type of meditation is something I practice when I physically don’t feel like relaxing but know resting to meditate will help soothe anxieties and fears for the rest of the day. Meditations, for me, are used simply as a tool for me to cope with this life. I tend to experience emotions very intensely, and it’s good for me to lay down and release lots of these feelings through my exhalation and energetic JSJ holds.
