In the JSJ guided mediation, I practice the right and left mediator flow. This is one of the top three flows you would learn in a self care JSJ course. This is a great go-to hold for when you’re needing to balance emotions and going through changes in life (hello pregnancy). During pregnancy, many women experience anxiety, stress, worry, depression, sadness, frustration, irritation, and many other strong emotions—thank you, hormones! When I practice this hold, it helps me release these “stuck” emotions and just let go so that I’m able to just feel happy and more easily accept all of life’s changes. This meditation is focused on JSJ self-care holds, breath awareness, and emotional freedom techniques. You can use the mediator flow throughout your pregnancy over and over again to help balance emotions and welcome change in your life. The cool part of JSJ--you do not need to be "meditating" to practice. I find being relaxed helps the effectiveness of the practice, but it is not necessary.
