In today’s episode, we practice a very simple JSJ self-care hold on both sides of the body. This meditation helps to calm our nervous system quickly, which also helps clear our minds and connect with our growing baby inside. During pregnancy, our bodies are going through so many changes and working so hard to grow our beautiful little baby. It’s important for us women to take time to stop, breathe, and just be still periodically during our busy days. Not only are you instantly helping your body and mind when practicing these JSJ meditations, but you’re helping to prepare yourself for labor and birth. Meditation helps you learn how to be present, tune into your breath, tune into your body, as well as practice listening to your body, mind, and spirit. This self-care JSJ hold that we practice today also helps balance reproductive energy, relax our mind, and calm our nerves. A great self-care practice for any pregnant woman (or anyone in general) experiencing anxiety, stress, and/or worry. In addition, this is also a great hold for the postpartum period!
