Witnessing is a very powerful practice. By becoming aware of our thoughts we can see that we are, in fact, not our thoughts but the consciousness and space through which they flow. We are the witness itself. By beginning to see the spacious awareness behind our thoughts, we can be more deliberate about which thoughts we choose to believe and follow, and which thoughts we allow to simply pass by ~ like clouds in the sky.
