One of my favorite books is 'The Slight Edge' by Jeff Olson. In the book, there is a great story about a young Steve Martin. Steve didn't stand out in the early days. It took him years to learn his craft and become a master. It's a great example of talent only getting you so far. In most cases, experience will always beat talent. So, even if you have talent you still have to put the work in to be the best.
