#Ep.8: In this episode, RunChatLive opens the door to something we are absolutely thrilled about... guest speakers! Taking centre stage is pioneer of Women's Mixed Martial Arts Rosi Sexton.

The video itself is not pretty (we changed software after this) but with the help of our guest certainly packs a punch (pun intended). Once ranked number one in the world at flyweight, Rosi competed at the first ever Cage Warriors event in 2002 and over the next 10 years won 13 of her 15 fights. In 2013 she made history as the first British female to ever fight in the UFC.

In 2014, Rosi decided to concentrate on her career in Osteopathy and today works out of Olton Osteopathy in Solihull, England. She has also just released via her website Combat Sports Injuryan online 'Neck Strength Masterclass' course.

Over the course of the hour, Rosi tells us about about her experiences of working not just with injured fighters but people from all walks of life. She points out factors that can potentially increase the risk of injury for mixed martial artists, and discusses the essential stages of rehab necessary to reach full recovery.  We note the similarities and differences between working with runners and fighters and chat about what prompted her to set up her online Combat Sports Clinic.

I totally recommend you check Rosi's 'Neck Strength Masterclass', not just fighters but also therapists, coaches and anyone interested in injury prevention & rehab.

We hope you enjoy the show! If you do, please take a minute to like & share on iTunes as it REALLY helps us increase listeners. Thanks in advance!
