Episode 19- Jaryd Clifford - a podcast by Dane Simon Verwey

This morning I had a 60 minute yarn with the ever inspiring Jaryd Clifford. Jaryd is a ‘blinky’ as he affectionately calls it, an athlete with a visual impairment and recently he became a dual World Champion at the 2019 Dubai Paralympic World Athletics Champs in the 1500m and 5000m! I was fortunate to be but a small part of his build up to the event (as physio on Pre-event Flagstaff altitude training camp). We talk about this experience, the ups and downs, Tokyo, his writing and much more.
