After Julie and Lisa provide tips on training after the news of the cancellation of every race on the planet, they welcome elite runner, Kate Landau.  Kate, who is 43, recently finished 14th in the Olympic Marathon Trials in a time of 2:34.  Kate shares how she overcame an eating disorder to rediscover running and become one of the top masters marathoners in the country with a 2:31 PR at Boston 2019.  As a single full-time working mom, Kate balances her training, motherhood, and a career as a physician's assistant.   We have no doubt that Kate's story will resonate with all of our listeners.   Kate, like so many of our listeners, was scheduled to run Boston 2020.  Like everyone else, she is adjusting her training and goals during this time of uncertainty and focusing on the process.  To learn more about Kate, check out this recent article in RunWashington.
